The hard bound pages are dark brown and have a nice cover which is glossy. This will help you to keep the book longer. The only downside of this book is that it does not include any sample question or answers or even sample test. This is really a problem because you cannot get the accurate picture of the difficulty level of the question and make use of your study accordingly. Overall this is a very good book. It has all the previous GPAT examination Questions and their explanations with other exams also but lacks description of chapters.
